What is NEN 7510?
NEN 7510 is the Dutch standard for information security in the healthcare sector. This standard was specifically developed for organizations working with medical data and patient information.
The standard is based on ISO 27001 and ISO 27002, but contains additional requirements specific to the healthcare sector. NEN 7510 is mandatory for all Dutch healthcare organizations working with electronic patient records (EPRs).
